Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before you start: pricing, privacy, the Coach, groups.

Is Habitudes Partagées free?

Yes, and it has no ads. Tracking your habits, sharing them, creating groups and cheering each other on is free. The credits you earn by using the app (200 at sign-up, then 5 per active day) pay for the Coach and group totems. You only pay if you want to use the Coach a lot or add totems to several groups: a subscription (€2.99 or €9.99 a month, no commitment) or a one-time pack.

Can I use it on my own?

Yes. You can start alone, with the Coach, and invite your people whenever you like. But the app is built for sharing — that's where it shines.

Who can see my habits?

Only friends you have accepted, and only what you choose to share. You set visibility habit by habit, and your more personal notes are only visible to your Confidants. Nothing is public.

How do I invite a friend or create a group?

Share your invitation link or let them scan your QR code. When your friend accepts, you both get 10 credits. You can then create a group with shared habits and a group chat.

Is the Coach an AI?

Yes, the Coach is powered by an AI model. It uses your data (goal, habits, inner weather) to suggest concrete actions. You can see and erase everything it knows about you, and the cost of each analysis is shown before you run it. Its suggestions are not a substitute for medical advice.

What happens if I miss a day?

Don't worry: the Guardian can use its Joker to save your streak for free. And if you simply forgot to check in, the app offers to catch up on yesterday in the morning.

Can I track a habit I want to limit, like screen time?

Yes, with limit mode: set a maximum (for example 1 hour of screens a day or 2 drinks a week), and the app counts and shows whether you stayed within it. It's a moderation tool, not a treatment.

Which devices does it work on?

iPhone, Android and in your browser (app.habitudes-partagees.fr). An internet connection is required. The app is available in English, French and Spanish.

How do I delete my account?

From the app settings, in 2 taps. Note: a subscription bought on the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled separately from your store.

Who makes Habitudes Partagées?

I'm DiD! I built the app after starting to share my progress with the people around me: supporting each other changes everything. It's published by EIRL DID IT, a small French company based in Lille, and it grows with its community — join us on Discord.

What the app is not

  • A public social network: nothing is open, only the people you choose.
  • A medical app or a professional fitness coaching service.
  • A game that punishes you: one missed day shouldn't wipe everything out — that's what the Guardian Joker is for.
  • A "free" app with a catch: purchases are optional, and we tell you exactly what they're for.
